The City of Orting is asking residents for help this fall: trim trees and shrubs that hang over streets and sidewalks, and keep fallen leaves out of the roadway.
The city says clear streets let its equipment safely do routine street sweeping and other seasonal maintenance.
The city's fall cleanup on Oct. 27 will also collect up to three 32-gallon biodegradable bags of yard waste per household.
