Candidates in Washington must report the money they raise to the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC). These totals count all 2026 contributions reported through October 7, for both the primary and the general election.

  • State Rep. Pos. 1: Drew Stokesbary $387,430, Stephen Szczurko-Walton $16,459
  • State Rep. Pos. 2: Joshua Penner $55,825, John Bielka $15,438
  • State Senate: Phil Fortunato $78,323, Tamara Stramel $46,417
  • County Council District 1: Jerome O'Leary $62,458, Kelsey Barrans $13,089
  • County Prosecutor: Coreen Schnepf $95,489, Bryan Chushcoff $50,686
  • County Auditor: Damon Townsend $19,922, Linda Farmer $17,791

Where the money comes from differs by race. About 71% of the money raised by Stokesbary and by Fortunato came from organizations such as businesses, PACs and party groups, and Penner's figure is 86%. In the county races, most money came from individual donors: 94% for Schnepf, 96% for Chushcoff and 70% for O'Leary.

Two committees have also formed around county ballot measures. Keep Pierce Moving, which supports expanding transit, has reported $146,087. Vote No on Amendment 53, which opposes making the sheriff an appointed job, has reported $14,520. Anyone can look up the full reports at the PDC website.
