Wet, windy weather on Sept. 25 brought down trees and utility lines across Pierce County, the county's road crews reported.
Closures that afternoon included several in the Orting area:
- Military Road E from SR-162 to 120th St. E (tree in utility lines)
- 214th Ave. E from South Prairie Road E to 112th St. E (reopened later that afternoon)
